The Extrema Ratio Misericordia Black Warfare is a limited series in 500 pieces only with all the characteristics of the famous Misericordia adopted by 4th Alpine Paratroopers Regiment which contributed to its development and testing and choose it for its unique characteristics that make it particularly suited for ambush combat.
The blade is milled out of Böhler N690 steel, heat treated to 58 HRC for best combination between edge retention and toughness, it’s 118mm (4.65”) long and 4mm (0.16”) thick with a plain edge. Knife weight is just 87g (3.1 oz). The blade profile its spear point, with a full length fuller that makes it even lighter and has a false double edge to ¾ of its length. It’s finished with Black Warfare finish, with the innovative and original Geotech Camo pattern by Extrema Ratio, laser etched on the surface. The grip maintains the typical ergonomic Extrema Ratio profile and is made in glass reinforced nylon, to offer maximum toughness under all circumstances, even in the harshest use.
The characteristic ring at the pommel helps the soldier to get better purchase for a safer and more effective thrust, exponentially augmenting the combat effectiveness of the Misericordia. The kydex sheath can be attached by belt-clip, ulticlip and malice-clip, moreover it can be attached to a M.O.L.L.E. webbing using paracord.
There is also an optional high resistance nylon sheath with two adjustable loops to affix it to a M.O.L.L.E. webbing. Misericordia Black Warfare is delivered in a weather, dust and shock resistant polypropylene IP67 certified waterproof case, with pressurization valve, which carries also the Kydex sheath, double ULTICLIP, a double grit honing plate (ceramic and synthetic diamond) and a metal plaque bearing the progressive number within the limited series.
