Die moderne Spear Point-Klinge und der Griff des Charlie Three bestehen aus 6 Millimeter starkem D2 Werkzeugstahl, der dem Messer sowohl ein hohes Maß an Belastbarkeit, als auch Schnitthaltigkeit verleiht. Das Stonewashed-Finish erzeugt eine gegen Kratzer unempfindliche Oberfläche und erhöht zudem die Korrosionsfestigkeit der Klinge.
Mittels CNC-Technologie werden alle Details aufwendig aus dem bewusst flach gestalteten Griff der neuen Charlie Serie herausgearbeitet. Der abgerundete Erl und die Index-Bereiche für Zeigefinger und Daumen ermöglichen eine angenehme und sichere Handlage. Bei Bedarf lassen sich die Griffbohrungen sinnvoll für eine Durchführung und Wicklung mit Fallschirmschnur nutzen.

Pflegehinweis
Die Klinge des Charlie Three ist aus D2 (1.2379) Kaltarbeitsstahl gefertigt, der über eine enorme Schnitthaltigkeit verfügt und aufgrund des Chromanteils von 11,8 % einer gewissen Grundpflege bedarf. Bei mangelnder Pflege kann Korrosion auftreten. Zur Vorbeugung sollte das Messer regelmäßig gereinigt, getrocknet und neu geölt werden, um Rost und Korrosion zu verhindern. Vor allem, wenn das Messer mit unbestimmten Substanzen oder säurehaltigen Flüssigkeiten in Kontakt kommt sowie in Meeresnähe eingesetzt wird.
